My True Religion

from His Holiness the Dalai Lama: My true religion, my simple faith is in love and compassion. There is no need for complicated philosophy, doctrine, or dogma. Our own heart, our own mind, is the temple. The doctrine is compassion. Love for others and respect for their rights and dignity, no matter who or what they are - these are ultimately all we need.

I hope we could share this to Florida pastor Terry Jones who plans to commemorate Sept. 11 by burning copies of the Quran and may he be enlightened with the Dalai Lama’s teachings and words of wisdom.

“Tao” 道 is the source / origin of all things.

All things have its own sources where it came from or originated and that different sources have its ultimate source.

“Tao” 道 is God the Creator of all things.

God created everything in this universe, may it be seen by our naked eyes or not.…..formless, yet gives birth to heaven and earth; inexorable, yet moves the sun and moon; nameless, yet nurtures all things…

What is “Tao”? 道

Alpha and omega.
Only way true path / way to heaven.
Spiritual truth.
Root of all religions.
Man’s eternal spirit / true conscience.
